1966 Plymouth Fury II 2 Dr Post 440 6 Barrel 727 Automatic Great 1966 Plymouth Fury 2 door post, rare only about 2500 were made in 1966. Third owner vehicle originally a 318i now a 440 six barrel! Car is in great shape! Shows 25,000 miles on clock, which makes sense as this thing is clean. I purchased from a small dealer in VA last Oct. I had plans of adding disc breaks and other little things, as it really needs nothing. I drive it almost everyday. I am selling only due to life circumstances. As we all know, when things happen in life, the toys go first. Interior is mint, stock and original! The paint shows really well, has some minor cracking, but under all inspection looks original as well. No rust or rot, car was heavily undercoated from first owner and it is in great condition. I recently changed the Cap/rotor/points to a Mopar Direct Connection electronic set up, along with a Mancini mini starter, and new alternator. Recent tune up in the last month, new belts, hoses, plugs, wires, and radiator flush. Newer Cooper tires, (front P215/70R15, rear P275/60R15) only about a year old on nice Torque Thrust style rims. Car runs really well, but as we know, the 440's don't like the super high temperatures, so had an electric pusher fan installed (with on/off toggle hidden under dash). Has newer dual exhaust with cut outs, a mild cam, sounds wicked, and runs like a 440 should VERY STOUT! I had the original AM sent out and converted to an AM/FM Aux unit, with a new front dash speaker. Just some windless cracking, the rear seat has a minor crack/tear, that I have not had the time to fix. Car get looks and I am stopped every were I go! People hear it and always ask "WHAT IS UNDER THE HOOD"! Prior to my owning it, it was a Carlise Mopar Nationals feature car 2002 or so, I have the plaque and it goes with the car. I take it to a lot of car shows around my area and it is always a hit. Again, not many made, so I haven't seen another one like it at any of the shows I have been to. I will require a 500.00 deposit via PayPal or Chase Quick Pay within 24 hrs of winning bid. I can suggest a local shipper if needed (the one that picked it up for me). Again, this is a great car! Car is also listed with my local Mopar club and if its sells locally, I reserve the right to end the auction. Feel free to contact me with any questions. GOOD LUCK and I know who ever gets it, will love it as much as I have. AM/FM
