The previous owner had reputedly rebuilt the engine, although I have no receipts to confirm; just a few pictures of the fresh engine on a stand prior to installation. The car was originally a Robin’s Egg Blue color which can still be seen in the spare tire wheel well and behind the dash. Original numbers matching Coupe, NOT a 2 plus 2 Air Conditioning

Seller's Comments and Description: iving in a protected garage facility, this particular convertible is very intact and free from most rust and other defects that are frequently found on these models, that have not been as well cared for. When we drove the car, to shoot the pictures, it started right up, ran great, shifted as designed and steered and stopped with little to no effort. The paint finish is a good driver quality exhibiting only some heat failure in one small area around the bonnet louvers (shown)

Just email me at: [email protected] . Original numbers matching Coupe, NOT a 2plus 2. Ive owned the Jaguar for 7 years, having purchased it from a gentleman in Colorado who had owned it formany years and took obvious pride in the car. He only sold it because he was getting on in years. First, there isNO RUST on the Jaguar visible anywhere. The previous owner had reputedly rebuilt the engine, although I have noreceipts to confirm; just a few pictures of the fresh engine on a stand prior to installation. The car wasoriginally a Robins Egg Blue color which can still be seen in the spare tire wheel well and behind the dash. The previous owner had the XKE re-sprayed Old English White. Id estimate the paint is at least 10 years old. Most of the chips in the paint finish arealong the leading edges of the bonnet and doors which I have touched up. The engine has remainedin stellar working order. It is quiet, never runs hot, is very powerful and uses little to no oil. (It does dripsome oil at rest but nothing out of the ordinary.) The gearbox is excellent and all mechanical and electricalsystems function as they should with the exception of the clock and original radio which works but doesnt soundall that great. I have receipts for thousands of dollars of work carried out since Ive owned the car. Thesmaller jobs and strict routine maintenance, Ive done myself. The more involved repairs were entrusted to thepreeminent independent Jaguar repair facility in this region. These include a new clutch, pressure plate andrelease bearing, new cooling fan motors, front and rear brake rebuild, complete front end rebuild, gas tank cleanedand sealed, new drive shaft u-joints, reconditioned speedo and many more jobs carried out to keep the car in topdriving condition. I purchased thetires several years back; they have perhaps 5000 miles and look like new. Ive also replaced the seat bottomsupports and foam, but re-used the original leather seat covers which are in remarkable shape for their age. Air Conditioning
Bringing this rare beauty out of storage, this is my 1969 jaguar e type xke. Odometer shows 40k miles serial #1r8536. Runs and drives, needs a little tlc but is complete.
1969 jaguar coupe two seat. I'm the third owner and the previous owner had the car since 1975. The car has not been restored having most of the original paint. The car is number matching. The car has been touched up in spots over the years but the paint does show its age and some blemishes. Everything on the car works, except the clock and the a/c. A/c will need to be charged (the compressor does work). Car comes with tool roll, original jaguar keys, owners manual, and i do have the rest of a new carpet set that needs to be installed. Air Conditioning
More infos regarding my car at: [email protected] . 1969 Jaguar XKE 2 2. This E type is an extremely nice, original driver. I would consider this Jag to be in the "sweet spot" for avintage car. While it's not perfect, it's an extremely original and well cared for example that can be driven andenjoyed. From what I can tell, this is an original 90k mile car. It's completely rust free and numbers matching. It's beenrepainted once in its original factoy hue of burgundy. Mechanically, the car is excellent. Starts easily and drivesvery, very well.
