Steering is tight, shifts smoothly, fires right up and idles smooth and steady. The 7. 8l diesel engine runs great with no unusual noises or knocks. The transmission shifts like it should. Brakes are good; air pumps up quickly. The body is in very nice condition - all doors open and close as they should (utility body and truck body itself), no major dents other than the usual scars from being a work truck. The interior is in very nice shape as well, with only the usual wear / tear on driver side getting in. The set of booms all work; however there is a hydraulic leak in the upper cylinder - needs to be repacked. Outriggers and winch all work flawlessly. The booms have upper and lower controls and a 60-foot working height. All in all, this truck has a lot of life left in it and is a very economical addition to any work fleet, or someone just getting a start in the business. Please call 515-229-3836 with any questions. I do sign work in houston tx and bought/used for some installations. I only use it about 8 times a year so it is just sitting there while i still have to pay for insurance. It is old and it has rust on it. Engine runs and transmission works too. It drives but i just found it has a leak on the water pump. I don't want to deal with it or invest more money. I did seals and pumps on the tesla lifter 2-3 years ago and spent about $3,500 already. The lift works as is supposed to no generator. It works with a pto using the truck's engine power. I've replaced the wiring on the lift and some of the controls on the bucket, they can act funny sometimes but they are easy to replace as i've been doing. This is a no reserve auction so whoever wins takes it home. Please note the truck is sold "as-is' "where-is' with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
