Seller's Comments and Description: 1947 Harley Davidson WL Solo. This bike underwent a restoration in the mid 1980's and has had some work done in the last couple years to make it roadworthy. The engine runs great and has matching numbers. The paint has some scratches and chips here and there and the tanks are slightly more faded than the fenders, but it has great patina. The tires are new 16" with only about 30 miles on them. The wheels have recently been sandblasted, powdercoated black, and new stainless steel spokes installed. The bike appears to be original, with the exception of the headlight and I think the rear fender. Will need a little tinkering with here and there, but this is a fun bike to ride and has been very reliable! The bike comes with a clear title.
