1953 packard clipper 4-door sedan this car combines two of the most importanttraits that are often not found together in one classic car --- low mileage(35,017) and original condition. It was kept in a storage facility for most ofits life. The first owner purchased this car brand new in 1953. He only drove itin the summer months, keeping it in storage the rest of the time. He put 31kmiles on it in nearly 60 years. When he was older and had lost his driver'slicense, the story is that he would sneak out at night and drive the car, so hiskids finally had to take the car away. It has a straight-eight 288cid motor and a 6 volt electricsystem. There is also a newly painted engine and engine bay with packard graypaint that is period correct. Recent improvements -- new title front and rearbrake wheel cylinders new brake master cylinder new front and rear brake shoesnew gaskets and seals new battery a completely cleaned gas tank a rebuiltcarburetor a completely new exhaust system exterior -- a period correct packardgalahad green small drips from transmission some nicks and scratches from its 64year old life chrome is good, some brown tint at left front no significant rustbody is straight all of the windows are in very good condition and roll up anddown like they were brand new. All doors open and shut smoothly. Trunk issuper-clean with original jack nearly new whitewalls are excell.

So, here is my transparent disclosure about the rest of the car: the convertible top operates as it should but the pump leaks when activated to go up or down; it likely needs to have the seals replaced or rebuilt. However, as any vehicle of its age, it needs to be sorted in order to be taken to the next level. Only the fuel and temperature gauges are currently operational, so the under dash wiring needs to be sorted or gauges rebuilt

1941 Packard Model 110 Special Luxury Coupe This is a classic find, discovered garaged for many years in LA after the original owner's passing. ONLY 67k original miles, this 110 special serves as a great invitation into the Packard Family. The Packard One-Ten (also One Ten and 110) was a range of six- cylinder automobiles produced by the Packard Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan during the 1940 and 1941 model years. The One- Ten model designation replaced the Packard Six model name. Packard reintroduced a line of six-cylinder cars in 1937 after a ten- year absence as a response to the economic depression and ongoing recovery cycle in the United States. As an independent automaker, Packard could not look to other internal divisions to support its base of luxury models, so the inclusion of the Six, and the later 110 models, was necessary to aid in supporting the firm's bottom line until better times returned. Built on a shorter wheelbase than the senior Packards.

1953 packard clipper 2 door project car - not runningstraight 8 engine - 3 speed manual shift on the columndoes have some rust. This is not my usual type of inventory but a man was needing to empty his storageand i allowed him to bring it out, to stop the expense. Will be reasonable on the price.

The original 288ci l head straight 8 engine has been rebuilt and set into the very detailed engine bay. The 3 speed column shift transmission is equipped with overdrive. The exterior is very straight with the wood panels being removed and restored. The paint is very deep with a great shine. All of the body lines and panel fit is very straight with no gaps. The interior is completely redone including the seats, dash, carpets, and headliner. All of the interior wood was removed and restored. The undercarriage is very nice and detailed with no rust and very solid pans and rockers. This limited production vehicle is a true collector and can be driven or shown.
