Unlike earlier rally cars that were derived from manufacturers' production models, the stratos was designed from the outset to win rallies; its short wheelbase, wide track, and powerful ferrari-built engine endowing it with incredible speed and staggering agility. In all, bertone's records indicate that they built 502 body shells through 1975, but it is unclear how many stratos were finally completed by lancia. Body number 214, was completed at bertone's grugliasco works on june 25, 1974, painted red-orange (color code 2-464-171) with red carpets, havana alcantara seats, and black dashboard, door panels, and seat backs. Final assembly at lancia was completed on the 1st of july 1974, with an invoice date of july 9, 1974, and it was assigned chassis number 001544. The stratos was first registered on july 8, 1977 with number plate to r05675, and it was driven about 20,000 kms over the subsequent three years. The car was then acquired by its second owner on june 18, 1980, and on may 25, 1981 it was registered with a new number plate, roma y70340, which it still retains (new reproduction). The second owner added about 50,000 kilometers until 1984, when the car was stored and seldom driven. This particular stratos is one of only a few that has never been raced and it remains to this day in remarkably original condition. In years past, the fragile seat bolsters were recovered, retaining the original havana inserts to an otherwise preserved cabin, essentially as it left the factory. All glass is original, including the windshield with period automobile club d'italia decal and vinyl registration pouch. The front compartment contains the original spare tire assembly, windshield washer pouch and auxiliaries – as does the engine bay wi.

1972 NSU Prinz 4L in excellent original condition with a genuine 16,565 miles from new. Car has been mostly unused for several years and is not currently registered for use on US roads. I have owned this Prinz since 1987 when I bought it (in the UK) from the granddaughter of it's original elderly owner, who had recently passed away. I was an active member of the British NSU Owners Club for some years. The car had been well known to the club before I bought it and I continued to use it for club events and shows around England and Scotland. I moved to the US some years ago and had it shipped over here intending to get it registered for use in the US and to find a US NSU owners club. However, family and professional obligations took precedence and this has not happened. Now I am heading back to the UK and it looks as though shipping it back with me will be prohibitively expensive so I am reluctantly offering it for sale. It has not been run much during it's time here, although has had the occasional outing on private roads from time to time. It had new brake lines and all fluids replaced very few miles ago and for it's age is in terrific condition with gleaming paint and bright work...

In 1953, the 3rd and subsequent series b20s were upgraded to a 2,451cc, 118bhp version of the pushrod v6, and this was adopted for the b24 spider, also called the 'america', launched in 1954. For the b24 spider, the aurelia b20 chassis was further shortened and came with a floor-mounted gear change as standard. With its combination of beauty, quality and mechanical sophistication, the 1955 lancia aurelia spider had no equal - sports and exotic car only 240 b24 spiders were manufactured during the short 1954/55 model years, with 181 in left-hand drive s configuration - meaning sinistra, italian for 'left'. Completed on november 9, 1955, chassis 1177 was delivered new to its italian home market in stunning grigio over pelle verde upholstery (gray with green interior)!. It was purchased by dario fasano of torino, and remained with him for more than 30 years in the italian motor city, as recorded on copies of period road license documentation. The spider passed to its second owner, alberto garnerone, also of torino, in october 1987. Shortly before it was acquired by its second steward, the car was entrusted to noted lancia restorers kca of milan for restoration. In the more than two decades that have elapsed since this restoration was completed, the lancia is said to have covered just 2,000 km and remains the ideal candidate for important events such as the mille miglia. Now finished in stylish black over tan leather livery, it comes equipped with highly desired wire wheels mounted on brand new michelin tires and an elegant hardtop, universally accepted as one of the few such tops that possibly improves upon its exquisite form. A recent service, tune-up and inspection was recently commissioned to ensure all suspension, brake, safety, motor and drivetrain systems are in proper working order with extensive testing thereafter. The engine compression is a very healthy 200 psi per cylinder and the wipers, gauges, lights, signals, switches, are all working properly. A ton of research time and correspondence w.
