Boasting an ultra-stiff body and a race-inspired suspension, the s2000 could run circles around just about anything it encountered. For the 2006 model year, this two-seater convertible gained electronic drive-by-wire throttle control and stability control; headrest-mounted speakers and an outside temperature gauge. And on the styling side, it gained new seat, console and alloy wheel designs. Equipped with a 2. 2-liter dohc 16v 4-cylinder engine, it had original specifications of 237 horsepower at a lofty 7800 rpm and 162 lb ft of torque at 6800 rpm. All that power translates into 0-60 times of around 6. 1 seconds while still returning up to 26 mpg on the highway.
