The clutch has been replaced recently. Everything on the car works. This car has been in a garage and out of the weather it's hole life. I recently purchased it from the original owner and i don't have the room to store the car. I have most of the documentation from the original owner. This may be one of the nicest original mustang lx 5. 0 out there. It runs, drives and sounds awesome.

The car had one owner for many years and was purchased by a fellow enthusiast in illinois and then i purchased the car from him. When i received the car it was absolutely bone stock. It had the original goodyear gatorback tires still on! These are now in my basement as they were slightly dry rotted and flat spotted. I had the car completely serviced. All fluids changed and the ac serviced and charged. In servicing the rear end i determined that the gearing was a 2:72 if i recall correctly. At this point i decided to change the gears to ford racing 3:73's. I also changed the rear girdle to a ford racing one. With those couple of changes i added a bassani stainless x pipe and flowmaster stainless exhaust. Then i switched the driveshaft to an aluminum ford racing. These are the only modifications to the car. The car is not driven hard and not thrashed around. I am 42 years old with 3 little girls. We simply enjoy taking the car out on nice days. Everything on the car is in full working condition. The plug wires and every other part are original and dated '1990'. The car does not leak and runs flawlessly. The paint is near perfect and the interior is as well. There are no dings or signs of damage and the car has never seen an accident. All vin stickers are in place. All parts on the car aside from the above mentioned upgrades are bone stock. This is a factory sunroof car with a factory center console delete. The original floor mats are pictured. The headlights might be a little cloudy, but that's a very small demerit on a car that's lived a good life. The mustang's buckets are every bit as comfortable as they look, and offer power lumbar support and adjustable thigh bolsters, making the mustang a custom fit. The seat covers are newer replacement pieces that don't quite replicate the originals, but they do look good and it's nice to see they finished the rear seat to match. Gray carpets tie it all together, along with a matching dash and console, which has a neat cup holder assembly that slides into the original ashtray. All the gauges are fully operational, and details like the side mirrors, cruise control, and power window switches still look great, not cracked and broken. Heck, the leather steering wheel looks barely used and the door panels don't even have dents where someone's elbow might have rested. The black power top fits well and powers down into its well, where it's covered by a tidy gray boot. With go-fast parts so readily available, finding an unmodified 5. 0 is rare. The rubber components are supple, the distributor still wears its protective hat, and even the worthless engine lift brackets on the headers are still in. Heck, even the mufflers appear to be original! Externally, the factory 15-inch alloys are in good shape and wear 215/65/15 blackwall radials.
