For those not already well versed in the 328, the vehicle was the update that the 308 (magnum pi's ferrari) needed after an 8 year run. It features a 3. 2l, transverse mounted 90 degree, v8. It features electronic fuel injection and is good for 260 hp and 214 lb-ft of torque. By way of comparison, porsche's carrera 3. 2 was a tenth of a second quicker... Although ferrari built roughly 30% of the 328s for the american market, several eurospec vehicles were modified and brought to the us. This is a us market vehicle, as can be seen in the rectangular reflectors in front of the front wheels. In the years since, many of the 328s have been exported out of the us, resulting in an estimated (as of 2015) 2,750 remaining. The vehicles we sell are pre-owned and as such additional keys, manuals or other ancillary items may not have been provided to us. This car was purchased new at wide world of cars (ferrari dealership) in 1987. With such low miles, this car is gorgeous both inside and out! The exterior has no blemishes or paint defects. The targa top is in great shape with no fading or headliner issues (comes with cover). The non-smoker interior is just as fresh with no rips, stains, odors or extended signs of use. A timing belt service & brake fluid flush was completed in august 2015. The wheels have no curb rash and the goodyear tires have excellent tread remaining. This ferrari 328 gts drives exceptionally nice and drives much tighter & smoother compared to many 308/328/355's we've had in the past. The clutch and manual transmission feel very nice and the 3. 2l 8-cylinder engine (hence 328 model) is notably smooth with zero smoke or other issues. The air conditioning is cold, the windows and headlights work properly as do the rest of the features when we went through the car. There are no rattles, popping or suspension issues, etc. Simply put, this is a fantastic car and an excellent opportunity to own an amazing car that is sure to appreciate with time!
