Just installed the new manifold & 3 new carburetors, with the rail and linkage. The starter is being rebuilt and then we should hear it run again! The engine ran not long ago. It was in the plan to have running again soon, when the owner purchased a finished pick-up from me & lost interest in the '46. I had a truck that he was able to drive out the gate. This classic is still on the factory 6 volt system. New radiator & gas tank come with it (not yet installed) new wood floor for the bed, floor mat for the cab new trim for the hood, hardware and many parts - too much to list! Several thousand dollars! Decent tires & wheels off of my 99 chevy. Nice wooden steering wheel already installed. Body appears to be pretty much original. During the war the production of these trucks stopped. In 1946 production was going & stopped by a strike this truck was a may, 1946 production model, which was after the strike i believe they called these "type 2" for the 2nd. Phase of production in 1946 not too many of these trucks still in existence! Nice collectible piece with the waterfall style grill dash is original, glove box lid is still present 2 piece bench seat is back from the upholstery shop, currently being stored! Trucks during this era were titled according to the stamped number on the motor. Likewise, this truck has a texas title which matches the motor that is currently in it. The motor is a different year model. The grill is pretty nice & is just hanging on the front. The bed was strapped on for transport, only. The bed is not adjusted to the proper height. Nice collectible piece! Note: the black wheels are no longer on the truck.

And power disc brakes, everything on motor is new and billet or chrome, aluminum radiator, all polished billet brackets, polished a/c comp,external billet power steering pump,and polished reservoir, htc headers, all chrome on body has been done and is very nice, all glass is good, very nice grey interior and trunk is finished out also, real banjo steering wheel. All gauges and dash insert is new and working, !!!! Cold vintage a/c and heat!!! With billet vents, chrome steelies with www, brand new viper flatz metallic paint on body. A lot of these were worked to death, but this one seems very solid and clean, so it was probably not a farm mule and survived its working years completely . And power disc brakes, everything on motor is new and billet or chrome, all polished billet brackets, htc headers, all chrome on body has been done and is very nice, all glass is good, very nice grey interior, real banjo steering wheel. With billet vents, previous owner did all of this but never got around to freshening up the paint and bodywork. Has some rust where inner rockers meet the floors, typical for 46 47 and 48s Air Conditioning
