This 1994 Chevrolet Corvette coupe proves it, with a great combination of performance, looks, and price. Polo White is the most traditional of Corvette colors and even on the C4 it looks fantastic. This particular ragtop shows just 42,890 original miles, so it's obviously been a fair weather toy all its life. The 1994 Corvettes got a few final tweaks before the end of the line in 1996, including the gills just behind the front wheels that are a more simplified version of earlier designs, and a smoother nose with flush-fitting lights. Fit and finish are actually quite good thanks to the dedicated factory full of 'Vette enthusiasts down in Bowling Green, and it has never been damaged in a major accident, so no worries there. And despite the vast aftermarket of bolt-on goodies for the exterior of the C4, this one remains totally stock save for the red hash marks on the front fender, which are a familiar Corvette styling cue. The Torch Red leather interior is an elegant alternative to the usual black or tan, and the high-impact color makes this Corvette really stand out. It's quite nice thanks to being gutted for the installation of additional sound-deadening materials, new red ACC carpets and fresh Al Knoch red leather seat covers with fresh foam underneath. Digital and analog instruments behind a big leather-wrapped wheel are both functional and pretty slick to look at, and as with all Corvettes, it's loaded. There's a trip computer, automatic climate control, power windows and locks, power driver's seat, and cruise control, making it a fantastic road trip warrior and a pleasure to drive every day. The sound system has been upgraded with a custom Alpine AM/FM/CD head unit that almost looks like it was born here. Everything works as it should thanks to the Corvette's fairly impressive reputation for reliability and even the hatch area is neatly detailed with a heavy-duty rubber mat to keep it looking its best. This is also a two top car, with a clear top and a color-matched solid top. From a stop, it'll shred the fat Firestone radials and there aren't many cars that can beat an automatic-equipped C4 on the roll; just stomp and steer! Again, despite the modification-friendly nature of the LT1, this one was upgraded with an eye towards reliability rather than all-out power, and those mods include a new MSD Optispark distributor, new Bosch water pump, and a fresh Bailey Engineering LTCC coil-on-plug ignition. There's also a giant.
