This car was originally astro blue according to the trim identification plate (code 25). This car is believed to have always been a super sport 454, it has all of the correct attributes such as the boxed control arms, 12-bolt differential, ss badging and equipment throughout. The paint and body are in good condition. This is a driver quality base/clearcoat finish. The body is straight front to back. Under the hood is the non-matching 454 cubic inch v8. This mill is conservatively rated at 325 horsepower. It was previously rebuilt and a mild performance cam installed. Further inspection of the engine will reveal a number of additions/upgrades such as a mallory distributor, header exhaust system, edelbrock aluminum intake and updated carburetor. The correct cowl induction breather assembly is intact along with the fresh air hood. An aluminum radiator has been installed to help this chevy rat big block with the texas heat. The original trim identification plate is also in place. Open the doors to 1970. The interior displays the super sport specific features along with bucket seating. The dash is in excellent condition as are the door panels. The 4-speed shifts through the gears as it should. It feels like this car has 4. 11s under it.
