SALVAGE TITLE. .2 owner accident free and very clean M3 convertible the vehicle was purchased by 2nd owner with 3k miles as a BMW certified with 100k miles warranty and was serviced regularly till 2008 when it was at their garage in Seabrook tx when their street got flooded about 12 inches and the car parked in the garage was water damage to the bottom of the seats. the vehicle was then paid off by State farm and declared flood damage. In Texas Flood damage vehicle is a total and can not be rebuilt or registered to be driven on the roads again. after we purchased the vehicle we drained all the fluids and there was no water contamination the seats and carpets were removed and cleaned properly . the only damage to the car was the seats electric switches which sit on the floor of the car and they were moisture damaged and the airbag computer. the power seats were repaired by after market targa switches for manipulating the power seats movements on both front power seats the air bag computer was not replaced . all other functions work fine the a/c is ice cold the Karman Cardon stereo with cd changer sounds great the power fabric top works flawlessly so as all the windows and locks the car has passed emission tests every year. all the tires are brand new and replaced by us the synthetic oil has been replaced every year. the car has always been garage kept the only flaw with the paint is the lip of the top boot cover clear coat is pealing can be repainted with bmw paint for couple hundred the car runs very strong and gives about 22 miles per gallon . For sale is my 2002 bmw m3. The car is immaculate with just over 46,000 miles on it and is equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission (original to the car, not a swap). I had planned to keep this car for the long haul as the e46 m's are on the rise (the low mileage, manual, unmolested ones), but due to a change in jobs, i have to get a truck and the car needs to go. Car has every major option except for navigation, cold weather package (does have heated seats, however), and the rear sunshade option. Rod bearings were replaced by bmw under warranty when the original owner had the car. Sub-frame has been checked and has no signs of cracking or wear. Vanos is sealed with no leaks whatsoever, it has not been bulletproofed yet but as a long time bmw enthusiast, i can say that this particular m does not need it, rather it is just a good precaution to take. Car has rarely seen rain and never been driven in the snow. The original cosmoline layer from the factory is still present, the car has always been stored through winter time when it was in the northeast. This can all be verified with a ppi or visual examination. Mechanical: car needs nothing, it is up to date on all service; it has had inspection i performed but will need inspection ii at approximately 60k miles as per bmw recommendation. Exterior: 9. 5/10- i am a passionate car detailer and have been over this car with a da polisher, so the paint is sealed and has zero swirls or imperfections. There are a couple rock chips on the front, but very minor at best. Interior: 9/10- the drivers seat has some slight wrinkling to it, as was common with e46 m seats. All tools and flat tire tool(s) are present. I spent about 8 months looking for this car and being full blown ocd, searched high and low until i found one in the condition i desired (unmolested and bone stock). Heated Seats
