As far as legends go in the automotive world, it goes without saying that the ac cobra ranks in the highest. Getting its start as a small british import roadster, it took one man by the name of carroll shelby to take this relatively mild sport roadster and turn it into a fire breathing monster. Originally shelby approached chevrolet to provide a power plant for the initial run of cobra's but not wanting in house competition for the corvette, chevrolet declined his proposal. Ford on the other hand was searching for any means necessary to provide the corvette with a challenge and gladly provided the power for what would become one of the greatest gt cars ever produced. After numerous victories worldwide, it's easy to see why this is one of the most re produced vehicles in the world. This cobra was built to be cruised and is powered by the ever reliable ford 302 mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.
