The later TR3s, known as the TR3A, had exterior door handles, which was certainly a worthy upgrade, and they certainl. This 1963 TR3, for instance, has a gorgeous look that's reminiscent of a Jaguar XK120, a burly 4-cylinder engine, and a very reasonable price tag for all that classic British fun

I’ve owned this car since 12/14/1993 and have driven it very little. In fall of 2009 i began a frame-off restoration for reasons unknown. Frame, tub and misc parts was bead‐blasted to bare surface. No rust was found and no rust exist now. Garage kept and covered most of the time. The frame was powder coated as well as tub most suspension parts. Due to a surprise divorce not very long after restoration was started and the cost of divorce attorneys, i was forced to do a speedy reassembly. I was also forced to do it on a much tighter budget. It still needs tweaking in areas but nothing i consider major. Seats i recovered myself… poorly i may add as well as the paint. It is apparent that i don’t know how to paint. Still not bad to look at from 20 feet. It is the original color. The wood on the dash was custom made and has bubbled in some areas. The engine has not been opened and/or inspected as it was running strong before and after reinstallation, same for transmission and differential. Bearings, u‐joints and the like was however replaced or repacked. From my recollection (and receipts somewhere), the following was replaced during the process1) starter2) water pump3) gas tank4) muffler (and a new spare muffler) tail pipe up to header needs to be fitted professionally5) chrome windshield header (and a new spare)6) upgraded cloth convertible top that cost a small fortunate (w/ zippered window)7) clutch, pp & to bearing8) all brake & clutch hydraulic system components including shoes/pads9) all body rubber mounts are polypropylene10) all front & rear suspension bushings, tie‐rod ends, shocks and related11) a wallet load of accessories, trim pieces, mounding’s, weather‐stripping, ect... 12) everything else was reworked, cleaned and/or paintedfrom my recollection of needed workbetter paint job, real seat covers and i would recommend the foam as well. Complete the exhaustsystem that was just slipped together temporarily. Tires have less than 500 miles but over 10 years old. Comes with after‐market hard top and variety of new/used parts. More pics available and all questionswill be answered to the best of my ability. Car has been sitting again for the past 6 years. Addition photos are available and questions are welcome.

Up for sale is my 1963 IH Scout 80. This scout was shipped out from Idaho and only driven in the summer months. It has always been taken off the road and put in storage for the winter. It has the original 152 4 cylinder that the previous owner had entirely rebuilt, t90 transmission, and dana 27 axles, the rear with posi limited slip, an option at the time. It does however leak some oil, an easy fix with a couple gaskets though. Last summer I took the scout on a 2500 mile road trip with zero issues. It cruises down the highway 60-65mph no problem, and usually returns about 20mpg on the highway. It has 56k miles on the clock but I cant say whether it had rolled over at 100k previously. It currently has a NH inspection until April 2017. All of the lights work, markers, hazards, brakes, turn signals, and headlights all function correctly. The brakes are good, the steering is in good condition. I have never had the scout off road. The suspension has a 2 lift installed, with new shackles, all new bushings and new Monroe shocks installed at the same time. The previous owner had two new bumpers built for it that are stronger than the originals as seen in the pictures. They also had a roll bar installed, but again, it is positioned so that it would be easy to cut out and remove without having to patch anything. The body and frame are extremely solid. The front floors are solid, which is a common rust spot. The only place where there was once significant rust was the rear floor. The previous owner had the entire rear floor cut out and replaced with a thick diamond plate floor. I hope the pictures show how clean of a job they did with it. If it wasnt diamond plate, it could pass as being original.

1964 triumph tr4 special chassis no. Ct/32818-l engine no. Fully accessorized accompanied by all weather gear & emergency equipment authentic sebring vented fenders plus many more driving accessories! One of the finest and most attractive tr4's we have ever offered! Produced between august 1961 and january 1965, the tr4 signaled the end of one era and the beginning of a new one for triumph. The tr4 retained the sound basic chassis design of the outgoing tr3a, combined with completely modern and aggressive bodywork designed by italy's giovanni michelotti. Driving dynamics improved as well, with precise rack-and-pinion steering and a synchromesh first gear. The tr4 had a number of racing successes in america; primarily through the efforts of the californian engineer kas kastner - including consecutive class wins at sebring. Meanwhile in europe and the uk during early to mid-sixties, the tr4 became a celebrated rally car. According to the british motor industry heritage trust, ct/32818-l was produced as a left-hand drive, north american export example, completed may 6, 1964 and dispatched on the 11th. Finished in new white over matador red leather and a black top, fitted equipment included: heater, goodyear whitewall tires, black tonneau cover, sunvisor, wood veneered facia and windscreen washers. The triumph was then shipped from tilbury docks, essex aboard the vessel kury lochus, to its destination dealer genser & forman inc. Offered here is a thoroughly striking example of the versatility these fantastic tr4's offer. Anglo-italian design, meets functional and comfortable period competitive driving. Ct/32818-l remains numbers-matching with original engine, body and livery. The car is exceptionally solid and honest throughout with excellent drivability, strong mechanicals and engine compression. A 2017 comprehensive inspection and tune-up was performed on the tr4 to assure continued instant enjoyment.
