With flat black stripes that look a lot like an inverted hood treatment from the '60s, this truck is aggressive without looking too radical. Instead, it keeps a factory look, especially with the satin black side moldings to tie it all together. Some custom graphics on the door and the hemi powered decals on the bed make it an attention-getter, and it's pretty hard to resist any vehicle that exhales through side pipes. But make no mistake, this sucker still doesn't mind putting in a day of work, so the bed was treated to a spray-in bedliner that's pretty much impervious to abuse. There's also a custom billet grille up front, a set of hood pins, and even r/t badges on the front fenders, just to make a point. The bright red interior ties in with the r/t theme without losing its '80s funkiness. Bucket seats with red cloth upholstery look great and are all-day comfortable, and it seems that the door panels and center console were wrapped in the same fabric. A modern billet steering wheel wrapped in red leather, some custom pedals, and a big tach on the steering column enhance the sporty feel, while the original gauges, a pair of dials under the dash, and a dash-top gauge pod monitor the rest of the engine's vitals. Things like the original dash pad are in excellent condition and there's a big subwoofer stashed behind the passenger's seat. Tinted windows add to the cool look and help keep it comfortable inside on warm summer days. A late-model 5. 7 liter hemi v8 was swapped into the ram's massive engine bay, and it's so clean that it almost looks factory-installed. It's been swapped to a 4-barrel carburetor, which is an easy modification that makes it bulletproof reliable, but a full set of coil packs still light the fires. A 3-speed automatic transmission snaps through the gears and the rear end hangs on air shocks so the attitude is easy to adjust. Replacement engine wasinstalled 8 years ago by certified Cummins Mechanic . To my knowledge all neededparts were purchased at NAPA Multi colored body panels from various pickups ofvarying years as it is difficult to find 25 year old parts trucks that are 100%straight NO RUST. Seat has no tears under the new seat cover, no cracksin dash Tires fair. 3/8" tread left, Engine strong and uses no oil. A/C needsattention as does the cruise control. Windshield is cracked but not through lineof vision. I am second owner of pickup and the first owner was my father in lawso I know its history I used this as a tool hauling pickup for a one personconstruction company for most of the time I owned it , once in a while it pulleda trailer with a small bob cat . Only last year was the flat bed installed andthe 5th wheel hitch for the gooseneck trailer. Have pulled only 2 loads oflivestock 30 miles with it so she has been tested but not issolid with no slip, with selective overdrive switch. Metal grill assembly isfrom a 1990 Dodge . This truck will not last long. It is a really nice, loaded out truck that was in a right front collision and repaired with oem, same paint code parts so no paint work was done to the vehicle. It runs, drive, stops and steers perfectly fine. Exterior: the original paint is in good shape overall, but has some light dings, small scratches, etc. The bumpers, grille, trim, etc. Are all in great shape. The glass is all in great shape and all of the windows except for the windshield are tinted. The factory 17" chrome wheels are in good shape and the bfgoodrich rugged trail t/a 265/70/17" tires are all in good shape. The bed has a plastic bed liner that is in very good shape and not beat up or torn up. Interior: the interior has all been swapped over from a longhorn edition and is in near perfect shape. The leather does not have any rips or tears and is nice and soft. The sliding power rear window works well. All of the power windows, power locks, power seats, etc. Work as they should. All of the gauges read correctly. There is a programmer of an unknown brand mounted to the windshield that has 4 settings: no power, mild, wild, and hot. The a/c blows ice cold and the heater blows nice and hot. Drivetrain: the engine is a very strong running 6. 7l inline 6 cylinder turbo diesel with low miles. The engine has been egr deleted and dpf deleted. It gets amazing fuel mileage for a truck of this size and it's due to the egr/dpf deletes and programmer. The original automatic transmission shifts well and doesn't show any signs of slipping. The 4 wheel drive all works correctly and engages and disengages smoothly.
