This is not a numbers matching car. This is a street beast to have fun in. Drive train is complete, it still needs body and paint work. The body is straight though. The car runs like a beast. There are too many new parts on this car to simply list everything, but i've listed some of the key things. All lights, turn signals, heater, etc... Over 500 hp fresh rebuilt 454 bored . 030 over, 781 heads, weiand intake, holley 750, thumpr 283t hr-7 hydraulic roller camshaft kit, magnum roller rocker arms, serpentine belt system, new power steering pump, aluminum radiator, new steering gear box. New ford 9-inch rear end with 4:11 gears. New brakes front and rear with discs on front, new master cylinder and proportioning valve. New fuel tank and fuel lines. The interior has new sport seats in front and original bench seat in the rear. I have added seatbelts to this car. It originally only had lap belts in the front for a front bench seat. New steering column with tilt. Carpet is in good shape, vinyl is in decent shape. Aluminum door panels were installed for rat rod look.

What is even better is things like the fenders it comes with have already been painted! This classic is being brought to us by sons of thunder. They started the restoration project but due to a lot of other projects on the list taking priority the truck isn't getting done. So instead of letting it just sit they decided it was time to give it up so someone else can enjoy this cool old pickup and give it the attention it deserves. It is a 1950 chevrolet 3100 3 window pickup that needs a little tlc. It is currently coated in green and the body needs some work but guess what, all the panels it needs to make it right are included with the purchase! That includes a door, front fender, rear fender, cab quarters, running boards, and even the front and rear glass! Under the hood is a 350 v8 that runs strong. It is paired with a 400 automatic transmission which sends power back to the 12 bolt rear end. Other things that come with it include a new wiring kit, new gas tank, bolt kits and headliner. The interior is unfinished but the original steel dash with all the trim is still there. It hasn't been cut at all so all of the original components should fit easily in place. The bench seat is covered with burgundy upholstery with all the other surfaces being currently bare.

The germans designed this thing back in world war two for general purpose transportation for military personnel along the same lines as the original army jeep. The thing about things is they are so ugly they are cute, sort of. Another thing about it is that it is a blast to drive. This thing has a souped up motor that makes this thing almost fast. And this thing has been thoroughly sorted mechanically with new brakes, shocks and bushings. What has not been restored is this thing's body, the paint is kind of faded on the thing and it has its shares of dings and scratches. But there isn't any rust on it and that makes this thing a better thing than any thing that is rusted. All this gives it that rat rod thing, which is a popular thing these days. This thing has a roll bar and three point seat belts up front that provides the occupants of the thing a safer ride than a thing with only lap belts. The interior on the thing is in great shape and all the gauges and lights work as they should on the thing. The thing's top is pretty much toast. The folding top frame on this thing is in fine condition and a new top can be purchased and installed professionally on the thing for about $450. The thing to consider about the top is that i have never driven this thing with the top up and never will. Another thing, these things are becoming very desirable to stuck up snobby collectors who are willing to pay a lot of dough for these silly things. This thing is located in rockwall,texas and is offered as is where is. If the ad is up this thing is for sale.

Odometer reads 50,721 (i'm sure it's turned over). I'm told engine is a rebuilt 350. Has air cleaner in the bed tool box (removed for engine/carb pix) everything seems to work. Lights, gauges, doors, windows, etc. Starts, runs and goes down the road strait at 65mphstrong runner! I drove it 125 miles last week and no problems... Sold as is where is. Inspections welcome. Here is what it needs to be a good looking daily driver:front windshield (has a crack on passenger side). Only selling due to a lack of parking space. $500 deposit due within 48hrs of auction close.
